The Northern Territory is home to some of Australia’s foremost national parks, including:  Finke Gorge, Kakadu national Park, Litchfield National Park, Uluru (Ayers Rock), and The Olglas (Kata Tjuta).  The extensive river systems are home to some spectacular landmarks, and the many townships are not to be missed.


Deckchair Cinema

Come down to the Deckchair Cinema and enjoy a huge open air cinema situated on the beautiful Darwin Harbour. The cinema is open seven nights a week from mid April to mid November, screening Aussie and foreign popular, classic and family flocks.

Gates open at 6.30pm for a 7.30pm start.


Darwin Harbour

Filled with sunken ships from World War 2, Cyclone Tracy and confiscated Indonesian fishing vessels, Darwin Harbour is ideally placed in scenic mangroves and beautiful tidal waters. Spend the day on the foreshore or out fishing for Barramundi, Golden Snappe, Threadfin Salmon or Golden Snapper.


24HR Art

24HR Art is dedicated to the promotion of contemporary visual art and offers all who visit the opportunity to interact with the installations. This fantastic display of modern art is located in the Parap Shopping Village, just 5 minutes from Darwin city. You will find exhibitions on display at various times of the year by emerging and established local artists.


17 Mile Falls

This natural hidden gem amazes all who come to see. Only accessible by a 4 day trek up the Jatbula Trail.
